Downtown Salsa brings dances that are sweeping the country to the West End of Downtown Greenville.
There will be dancing in the West End, weekday evenings that will include Salsa, Bachata, and Merengue lessons taught by Cesar Jaramillo, a well known Latin dancer and respected instructor (Jaramillo’s Latin Dance Academy, First in the State to receive The Prodvida Bronze Teaching Certification).
Salsa is a passionate, sexy dance.
New York City created the term "Salsa", but it did not create the dance. The term became popular as a nickname to refer to a variety of different music from several countries of Hispanic influence. Dances: the Rhumba, Mambo, Cha cha cha, Merengue, and others have maintained their individuality and also have mixed creating "Salsa".
“If you are looking for something fun and for stress relief coupled with an excellent cardio work out, I encourage you to give “Downtown Salsa” a try. I know you will love it as much as I do”, Shawn Thomas, Owner/Broker New City Development and promoter.
Dress will be casual and please wear slick bottom shoes or tennis shoes no flip flops.
There will be alcohol served at the bar and bottles of water will be on site.
